Specimens listed on my available page are measured using the following:
Tarantulas - diagonal leg span (DLS) while the spider is stretched out.
Scorpions - The length of the body and tail whilst stretched out. -
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

All specimens are unsexed unless otherwise noted.

All payments must be made prior to shipment.

Animals are sold on a "first come, first served" basis, meaning that the client from whom we receive payment from first will have priority for the specimen(s) I have in stock.

Shipping fees vary depending of locations and size of box needed so please inquire about shipping fees.

LIVE ARRIVAL POLICY: Live arrival is guaranteed ONLY with use of next day service (or two day service if next day service is not available) via FedEx Express or airline live animal cargo (West Jet, Air Canada). If the purchaser insists on the use of a shipping method other than next day, or a service that I cannot personally guarantee to be delivered within two days, then there is no live arrival guarantee. Someone must be present at the delivery address to sign for and accept delivery of the box in order for the live arrival guarantee to apply. During winter shipping months the purchase of an insulated box and heat pack is required for live arrival guarantee. In the event of DOAs (dead on arrival) when live arrival has been guaranteed, the animals will be replaced with an identical specimen, but shipping fees must be paid again and are not refundable, except in cases where we are issued a refund by the shipping company in compensation for a failure of services guaranteed. If no identical replacement specimen is available, a refund will be issued instead. Proof of the animal's death, either a photograph or the return of the dead specimen is also required. In the event I am provided with an incomplete or incorrect address and the box is undeliverable, or if the receiver changes the delivery address after the box has been shipped, then the Live Arrival Guarantee is void, no refunds or replacements will be issued, and the purchaser will be responsible for any additional shipping fees for the return of the box to me. I must be notified of any DOAs within 24 hours of the delivery of the animals, or the live arrival guarantee will be void.

For shipping, I must be provided with a complete and correct address, including all apartment numbers, buzzer numbers or gate codes, street numbers and names, and postal codes. I also will need a phone number to provide to the shipping company (where they can reach you in the event of an urgent matter for your delivery). If I am shipping to a business address, I must be provided with the business name to include on the address label.

In the event I am provided with a shipping address or phone number that is incomplete or incorrect and the box is undeliverable, the purchaser will be held responsible for any losses (including animals and courier charges), the Live Arrival guarantee will be void, and no refunds or replacements will be issued.

Payment accepted by cash upon pickup, money orders, email money transfers from most major banks.

Requests for animals to be reserved are handled on a case by case basis, and I reserve the right to refuse to place animals on reserve. Animals may be placed on hold for up to two weeks with a 20% deposit. Animals may be placed on reserve for up to 4 weeks with a 50% deposit. Animals held past the 4 week reserve are subject to a $5 a day maintenance fee per animal.

All orders of $1000 or more (before taxes and shipping) , or orders that contain very rare or delicate animals, may be required to be shipped via air cargo or hand delivery (drop off).

I reserve the right not to sell to any person if we have reason to suspect the animals will be cared for in an irresponsible or unsafe manner.

Trades: I am open to trades, please contact me with offers. Please note that I must receive the animals offered to me in trade, alive and in a healthy condition, before I ship our end of the trade, no exceptions.

NO ANIMALS WITH POTENT VENOM WILL BE SOLD TO CUSTOMERS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE. For the purchase of animals with potent venom, I need to be provided proof (at least 2 government issued I.D.) that the purchaser is at least 18 years of age. A government issued photo ID (ex: drivers license, provincial health card, or passport) that shows date of birth and address should be one. A secondary can be a number of items, such as a credit card or utility bill sent to the purchaser’s address. If proof of age cannot be provided, I will not sell these animals. I reserve the right to not sell these animals if we have any reason to believe that 1.) the items showing proof of age are not legitimate (forged or stolen) 2.) the animals will be under the care of a minor, or 3.) the purchaser will not care for these animals in a responsible, safe manner.

Customers under the age of 18 may make purchases with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, as long as the animals do not have potent venom. Anything with medically significant venom will not be sold to minors even with a parents consent.

Please be aware of any bylaws in your area which may restrict the ownership of certain types of animals. Clark's Tarantulas cannot keep up with bylaws outside of my own city, so it is the purchaser’s responsibility to know the laws in his or her area and to abide by them.

Privacy- please note that we do not disclose phone numbers, email addresses, home or work addresses, or other private information of our clients.

ZERO TOLORANCE FOR ABUSIVE and INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR: disrespecting me by way of offensive language, harassment, threats (verbal or physical), or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. I will end all communication and business dealings with anyone committing these offenses. If necessary, the correct legal action will be taken.
